Capoeira – A martial art, a dance, a fight, a game and more than anything a way of life. Originated from the oppression of the African slaves in Brazil, Capoeira is an expression of freedom more than anything else. I started practicing Capoeira in 2006 with Instrutor Baba who founded Capoeira India. The journey has been a magical one. Addictive. Life changing. And more than anything, given me a new family in every city in the world.
So, here is a bit of that journey… Capoeira and travel rolled into one. Around the world with many Capoeira groups meeting many Capoeira Mestres. This is the ‘Roda of life’.
Travel always begins at home. This was Capoeira at Home…. Thousands of memories from Cordao De Ouro India with Instrutor Baba and all the wonderful Mestres who visited us from around the world.
